Biography
Lupita Kayalla is a writer, screenwriter, costume designer, actress, art director, and a Filmmaking undergraduate student at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB). She participated in training in Audiovisual Project Creation through the projects Pra Começar and Afro Formação. She is a member of the Creative Center and dramaturgy laboratory Labdrama, in Cachoeira, as a screenwriter in the script room for the feature film "Reza Braba". She is the author of the fictional series projects "Partituras" and the short film "Pólen." She produced objects for the short film "Where the River Takes You" (Baleia filmes, 2024), the series "Pensão Ludovico" (Bahia Visual Produções, 2024) broadcast by TVE, and the feature film "A Solidez da Água" (Rosza filmes, 2025). She is currently studying art direction as a political act in science fiction films.
