Unconventional rural doctor Dr. Chapa tackles community's emotional, social issues alongside medical ones, clashing with traditions but prevailing through compassion and limited resources.

Two friends, Bhanuka and Kalana, arrive in a remote village where Bhanuka falls for Samadhi, the beautiful daughter of the revered Ayurvedic healer, Mr. Wickramasinghe. As their stay unfolds, they uncover a hidden crime in the village.

In the 1970s, in the Gampaha district, Desmond Gunasekara , a deeply religious young man from a very ordinary family, accidentally clashes with a crime gang led by a man named Gnane operating in the area.
