Martyn is a man out of time who loves his wife Valkyrie, computers and synthesizers, which he plays in pubs and clubs to unappreciative audiences. But when Val does him wrong and Martyn's life starts to fall apart he retreats into his music, hoping to calm his inner turmoil. But music can summon the dark as well as soothe the soul, and it's not long before Martyn is hitting more than just the keys on his synthesizer keyboard.

Aeterna is a movement-based film that explores the feeling of personal insignificance when confronted with the complexity of human existence. By combining choreography and cinematography, the film plays with distorting the human form, offering a visual representation of our place in the world.

In this Victorian gothic drama, a photographer in 1880s Leeds tries to create the world’s first moving image, only to confuse the lines between fiction and reality.
