Figure skater Ksenia returns to her hometown to finally find out the truth about the tragedy of a decade ago, when her figure skating partner died. Sonya, the daughter of freak photographers who spend all day taking pictures and living in a photo studio, is very lonely and therefore tries to turn everything that catches her eye into a fairy tale. One day Sonya finds a friend no less strange than herself, and he helps her perform a miracle - revive a toy cockchafer.
