The postman delivers a package with a dragon's head to Kazim who watches Alfred Hitchcock's films, to Zahra who reads fortunes with a computer, to Gariba who makes toys, to director Jahangir, to police chief Seifullah, and calls each of them to come to the address mentioned in the letter with the dragon's head. Those who arrive at the address called along with the dragon's head realize that the "postman", is actually their relative, who has gathered together guests who have not seen each other for a long time.

In this play, the barrier between Elchin and Gulnar grows even stronger. The tragic changes in Gulnar’s life lead her to leave her job. Elchin’s wife, Sarvinaz, finally realizes that Elchin is still in love with Gulnar, and therefore decides to separate from him. Now independent, Elchin immediately heads to the railway station to follow Gulnar, who wants to leave the city…

In the film-play, events get tangled as a result of the lovers' miscommunication. Although the dramaturgical contradictions of the work are formed by various attitudes towards folk customs such as engagement and wedding, the play focuses on the contradictions of the characters, not the events.

Elchin and Gulnar meet for the first time. Although their words are not right at first, this quarrel later turns into love. However, Gulnar, unable to keep her father's word, has to sacrifice her love for him.

The events take place at the Scientific Research Institute of Ophthalmology in Baku. Shahbazov is the director of the institute. Despite the fact that he and Narmina, who work with him and have similar personalities, are educated and experienced doctors, the institute is undermining those who are ahead of them.

Elchin's appointment as the deputy director of the institute causes events to be controlled mechanically and by invisible forces, presenting the character of Vasif, who was mentioned only in name in the first part, in a new context. Returning to the institute, Elchin meets Gulnar again, and rumors are intertwined again.

Nargila's "unrequited" love for the factory director Hasanzadeh, who is deprived of paternal care and kicked out of the house by her mother at the insistence of her father.
