Taras wakes up in the bowels of a garbage truck under tons of compressed waste. The only chance of salvation is a push-button telephone, on the line is Nastya, a rescue call center worker, who is simultaneously making a decision about what to do with an unwanted pregnancy.

Nunya life is a complete kick. Her only love ex-boyfriend Lev is now dating another girl. In the company of the best friends, wine and shawarma, Nunya is desperately trying to realize who is to blame for the fact that her plan has failed. And most importantly - what to do when you want to drop everything and just be happy.

"Closing" is a film almanac made up of nine verses. Instead of a rap beat, there is beer, rain, a beach, a zoo, random conversations, and a city that lives its own life. These are not stories with a beginning and an end, but statements written into the rhythm of the festival, where cinema becomes a way to be together and a way to be alone. Any almanac is a film cypher: everyone goes to the microphone, says their piece, and leaves, leaving room for someone else. "Closing" is exactly that: a collection of voices in which you can hear laughter, fatigue, love, and meaninglessness. This is a film about how cinema closes the day and opens the night.

There are twenty minutes left until the premiere of the debut performance, and the leading actress is still not there. The young director urgently needs to find a way out.

Masha tries to hide her mother's disappearance from her younger brother. Trying to maintain her usual way of life, the girl goes to work on the highway, while the boy accidentally finds an unknown phone at home, which again gives the children hope for their mother's return.

Kataluska, a young saleswoman at a rural grocery store, falls in love with a newcomer, Andrey, who wants to sell his potato stocks and move to a big city. The guy turns out to be unprepared for a relationship, so the girl decides to take her fate into her own hands.

On New Year's Eve, the sisters decide to go back to the past.
