Biography
Michael J. Banks is an American filmmaker. He is best known for writing and directing Blades of Grass (2024) and producing That Creep from the Bar Last Night (2025) Banks grew up in Chicago, Illinois before attending Saint Louis University to study business. After graduating and working in sales for several years, Banks relocated to New York City and self-financed his feature debut Blades of Grass (2024). Shortly thereafter, Banks signed on to produce the award-winning feature film That Creep from the Bar Last Night (2025).
