On the country road, he gets tired of being trampled by horses and carts and sets off to see where the world is going. After encounters with intercity roads, the main road, and the highway, it finally reaches the end each time— where the road begins. Then a small path appears, along which the man walks up— Charlie Chaplin's little tramp.

A little cockerel digs in the ground and notices a worm. He starts to pull it, but after the worm, a dog, a fox, a worker, and a train come out of the ground. The locomotive is decorated with flowers and flags. He moves quickly back, accompanied by a mighty shout of "Hurrah!".

He travels through the desert, sitting on a donkey and works miracles. The blind man returns the eyes, the lame legs, the poet's inspiration. Grateful people follow him on his path. Soon after him comes a huge crowd of rebellious followers. He stops before the steps of the Temple, gets down from the donkey and goes up the stairs. Halfway there, he turns around and is surprised to see a crowd following the donkey.

Two acquaintances meet. One gives another a beautifully packaged gift. The recipient of the gift remembers not particularly flattering relationships in the past. This makes him treat the gift with distrust. Instead of opening it, he decides to throw it in the trash. But at this moment, he meets another friend and gives his gift to him. But this guy gives him another package, and the problem remains the same.
