Biography
Haekal Muthahari (Haekal Abrar Muthahari Hasyim) is an Indonesian filmmaker based in Jakarta, specializing in film and video directing and coloring. He is currently studying Film & Animation at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. Haekal began his career as a 3D animator and offline editor before shifting focus to color grading. His works have been screened at both national and international film festivals, as well as on OTT platforms. In 2023 he founded Roll16 Films, a platform for his directing works and films with academic research. Haekal's storytelling often draws inspiration from the idea of identity and the concept of perspectives, especially the combination of the two.
Known For
Unit 2 of the StB receive information from their Polish counterparts on a suspicious Indonesian diplomat. He is to be stationed in the Indonesian Embassy in Warsaw but flew early and is headed towards Prague instead. He was seen to be carrying a nondescript box. Agent Tomáš of the StB is assigned to stalk him and find out why he decided to go to Prague.
