Montse, a woman who takes care of a hyper-realistic doll as her own son, is avoiding meeting her newborn niece because she doesn't know how to deal with her past.
Amid the silent deterioration of his home and the fractured relationship between his parents, Antonio, a nine-year-old boy, discovers an abandoned shed on the outskirts of the neighborhood with his friends. Guided by a childlike intuition and the desire to solve the conflict between his parents, he decides to transform this shed into a refuge so that one of them can live there.
