Chinese primary student En Qi struggles with Malay spelling, often confusing it with English. This incurs the wrath of his strict teacher who humiliates and punishes him unsparingly.
A bigoted Chinese grandfather having to look after his biracial grandson at the onset of a global pandemic lockdown
The story follows Teacher Basri (Mubarak Majid), a retired headmaster who decides to continue his education at university. Teacher Basri's decision to pursue further studies is motivated by his beloved granddaughter, Nora (Yuna Rahim), who has lost interest in completing her education because she is too obsessed with becoming an influencer. Nora is inspired by her friend, Emy (Scha Ellinea), who has already successfully bought a car with money earned as an influencer. Similarly, Teacher Basri's decision to enroll in the same class as Nora forces them to face various obstacles and challenges. This is all because of Nora's request to keep their relationship status secret from the lecturers and classmates. Teacher Basri is the oldest student in the class and is viewed with disdain by university staff and students. However, Teacher Basri manages to overcome these negative perceptions after successfully proving that age is no barrier to seeking knowledge.
