Against the backdrop of the Hundred Years' War and the internal strife linked to the civil war of the "Two Roses," this dramatic episode in English history saw the royal houses of York and Lancaster torn apart in the race for power.

On Sunday 8 September at Stade de France, the Closing Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games officially drew 11 days of competition to a close.
