Ryan C. Smith (using his middle initial to distinguish himself from the thousands of Ryan Smiths) is a writer/director based in New England. Ryan describes himself primarily as a writer who fell in love with filmmaking as the best avenue for his stories and ideas. After studying at the New England School of Communications and directing a feature film while attending, he has sharpened his skills in producing, directing, cinematography, and editing, hoping to become the best all-around filmmaker he can be. Drawn to the freedom of independent filmmaking, he wants his projects to be original, challenging, and uncompromising.
