Captain Ren Yufan of the city’s anti-narcotics squad targets a cunning group of drug dealers. Upon learning that they plan to conduct a drug deal at the old dock, Ren Yufan leads his team to set up surveillance to catch them red-handed. Unexpectedly, drug dealers Xie Dafu and Xie Ertou from the remote Lanxi Village use a funeral as a cover for their operations. Undeterred by danger, Ren Yufan ventures deep into the mysterious and intricate Lanxi Village, uncovering a hidden and long-buried secret.

Fisherman Chen Yue is hired to sail a group of people, including photographer Zhong Ming, to a party on an ocean island. Upon arrival, the island is attacked by a massive deep-sea python, killing anyone it finds. Chen Yue and Zhong Ming must work together to lead the survivors out of danger in a fight for survival.
