Biography
Alessandra Staffetti is an American filmmaker. Born and raised in central Florida, she developed her interest in art and entertainment at a young age. She has directed two short thesis films: "The Good Cop" and "Penny for a Sum," thanks to her time at Ringling College of Art and Design. While attending Ringling, she has also worked in the Art Department for the 2021 short film, "Intuition." In 2024, she wrote, produced and directed the fantasy/drama 'Trapped in Tinseltown" while attending Full Sail University in Film Production.

Ashlyn is a high school girl who is obsessed with old movies for the 1950's. This concerns Frances, her grandmother, as she fears her granddaughter is living in the past and avoiding other kids at school. All this changes when Ashlyn comes across a magical TV remote that transports her through her TV screen into the 1950's. At first enamored, Ashlyn slowly discovers that all is not what it seems. Can she have a change of heart and an open mind before it's too late?
Trapped in Tinseltown

A young, frustrated woman moves back in with her parents to care for her mother, who suffers from chronic breathing problems. Looking for a spot to do her work, she cleans her old, dusty bedroom and encounters some of her beloved childhood toys. But when she decides to give them away, she and her family experience a night of unfathomable terror.
