In the 23rd year of the Wanli era during the Ming Dynasty, border general Zhan Congwen is framed for colluding with Japanese pirates by treacherous court officials, leading to the execution of his entire family. His son, Zhan Hong, escapes and flees to Qinchuan Town, where he meets and falls in love with Xiahou Ying. However, he soon discovers that her father, Xiahou Batian, was involved in his father’s case. To defeat the cunning drug lord Yuan Lin, Cheng Ying of the SWAT police team employs a ruse in which she seriously injures her close friend Chen Zhongyi in a fight at the police station. After being fired from the police force, she infiltrates the drug dealing world as an undercover agent and discovers that the drug lord Yuan Lin is more devious than imagined. To complete the mission, Cheng Ying has no choice but to risk her life. Ultimately, she dies and passes on the intel through her corpse, which leads to the arrest of all the drug lords.
