August returns to his hometown to return something important. But when he discovers that his childhood friend Sylvester wants nothing to do with him anymore, old feelings and memories of a shared grief come flooding back.

Abdi is about to deliver a machete as part of his final tasks in the criminal underworld. This is after he has been out dealing with his partner in crime, Malik. But things start to go wrong when Malik convinces Abdi to take his innocent cousin along for the ride.
