Biography
Aubrey Soriano is a student filmmaker at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations. She made her directorial debut at CinePanalo 2025 with the short film Si Nadia at ang Kanyang mga Kuro-Kuro, which she both wrote and directed. Before venturing into filmmaking, Her creative pursuits were rooted in prose, poetry, and photography, often centered on themes of humanity, grief, love, and metaphysics. With a deep love for both words and images, she came to view cinema as the fusion of the two. She is committed to continuously exploring themes of humanity and social struggles through her work.
