A murder has happened in a folk high school in Norway and so close to christmas! It is up to Carl and Madelene to figure out what happened.

In this film we meet two men who have a long history together. Strong bonds are formed throughout life. We meet them when the safe and familiar friendship is challenged. Breakups and the normal development of life are shown in a fine and beautiful way.
