Nahomy Cornielle is a dominican director and screenwriter. Her films explore memory, womanhood, and family tensions through an intimate and socially engaged perspective. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Film from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. Notable works of her are short films such as "Hijas de Nadie" (2024), "Alba" (2024), "Alma" (2023), and "Condena" (2022), works that combine visual sensitivity with a denunciation of silenced realities. Cornielle seeks to push Dominican cinema toward territories where art and social awareness intersect.
