This film sheds light on the fascinating and often neglected topic of the Hijra community in India, which has been a part of the subcontinent for over 4,000 years. Despite being revered and celebrated in religious and spiritual ceremonies, this community continues to face abuse, discrimination, and violence. Our film seeks to explore the dimension of evil that resides within our minds and how it reflects onto the perceptions of the Hijra community. For us, this film is very special, as it is a product of our personal experiences and the desire to showcase the struggle and bliss of the third gender. We aim to tell a story that is engaging, sensitive, and respectful. Our team is excited to bring this project to life, and we hope that it will contribute to a greater understanding and appreciation of the Hijra community.

An enigmatic creature arrives from an undisclosed realm, driven by an insatiable curiosity to explore human emotions. It embarks on a captivating journey to learn about love, sadness, self-discovery, and acceptance, unlearning societal norms and prejudices. The film challenges viewers to reevaluate their beliefs, ultimately offering a compelling story of embracing the unknown to find profound truths in a complex world.

"Narakasur" is a short film in which we've endeavoured to utilize the art of masks to narrate the story of King Narakasur in a theatrical form. Mrinal, a dedicated science teacher in a government school, employs a unique blend of evolutionary theory and the mythology of Vishnu's avatars to engage his students. However, his nights turn bizarre as he becomes entangled in a recurring cycle, transforming into a feral being. Through this surreal journey, we explore the delicate boundary between evolved humanity and primal instincts in contemporary society along with a portrayal of what reverse evolution might entail.

Aham is a Sanskrit term which means "self" or "I." Aham Brahmasmi is a popular saying used in the Upanishads, the ancient philosophical texts of Hinduism. With Brahmasmi referring to Brahman, or the Absolute Reality. We focused on the self. We chose not to have any dialogues. Silence offers opportunities for self-reflection and daydreaming, which activates multiple parts of the brain. It gives us time to turn down the inner noise and increase awareness of what matters most. And it cultivates mindfulness — recognition and appreciation of the present moment. The ability to focus on different tasks is often accompanied by a little background noise, the BGM will guide you through the film.

"TEZOR TUKURA" is a short fantasy horror film revolving around a tale of a wicked old lady and her succeeding generations that takes you to an uncanny world of occultism. The film is an effort to bring back the forgotten culture of " putola naach" of Assam as puppetry is used to make this film. The Covid pandemic had obstructed our lives in unimaginable ways but it gave us the time to revisit our roots, NAZNEEN7 Productions' presentation and CHINMOY BARMA’s directorial "Tezor Tukura" is the result of the same. Another strong element of our short film is the "menstrual cycle".

Ghorapak is one of the most feared legend/ghost in Assamese folklore.’Ghora’ means horse. This ghost is part horse and part human. Ghorapak is mostly seen in the river banks, ponds and swampy areas at night. Generally, people who go fishing at night face this ghost. sometimes it changes to a fully human state and can control humans. It knows everyone's name. It loves to eat fish. It is a story of Tapan on rage, love, fear and revenge.

Abhinab awoke, overwhelmed with weird remorse for someone else's actions, only to uncover a disturbing truth about himself.

Jokhini is a short fantasy horror film, revolving around the tale of a pregnant woman in her twenties and her encounter with a female demon-like creature, popularly known as Jokhini in Assamese legends and folklore. Malaya, a twenty-seven-year-old woman married to the love of her life Maharnav, is pregnant with their first child. She is often left to dwell in her veil of solitude throughout her pregnancy journey and is often met with disturbing thoughts and hallucinations The story turns dark when the age-old animosity between two legends, the Jokhini and the demon comes to light and the uncanny repercussions that follow.

As he delves into the depths of love, admiration and vulnerability, he unravels parts of himself he never knew existed. However, this pursuit of identity comes at a profound cost—losing his sense of self, leaving him transformed yet fragmented.

This short film is about the bond and relationship that develops between humans and animals, which are much like human to human and more. The story revolves around Biren, an old man and his journey to find love after his deceased wife. 'Morome Ringiaai" depicts the bond and relationship that develops between humans and animals, which are much like human to human and more. After losing his wife, Biren's life comes to a standstill. He mourns the death of his wife. But neglects the only living being he has, the cow. Various events lead them into a closer and a beautiful relationship eventually. A purpose lost and found.

"XAATHOR" is a fictional Assamese short film about a boy determined not to sacrifice his dreams for the sake of so-called 'family tradition'. To resolve his predicament, he seeks help from the past and finds himself ensnared in a time loop, with problems repeatedly haunting him. The film explores the 'Grandfather Paradox' and the 'Infinite Hotel Paradox'. It showcases the Assamese traditional drama (Bhaona), allowing viewers to feel the dedication and heart put into every scene. Ultimately, time itself has the final say, leaving the audience to unravel the riddle of time.

The film tells the poignant tale of two star-crossed lovers whose paths fatefully intertwine yet remain forever apart. The film captures the essence of love that remains unfulfilled, illustrating how its echo can become greater and more profound than love that is consummated.
