Biography
Liam Burke is a UK-based creative director, producer, and editor from Newcastle upon Tyne. A BA (Hons) Film Production graduate with hands-on experience at Pinewood Studios, he focuses on crafting bold, visually driven stories defined by tone and atmosphere. A lifelong lover of horror, Liam developed a passion for the genre from an early age and is dedicated to directing films that blend emotional depth with striking visual tension. His debut short film Echo (2024) earned multiple festival nominations, while his upcoming project Black Hollow continues his exploration of horror’s power to captivate and unsettle audiences.
Known For

Set in the rural Midwest during the 1970s, Black Hollow follows Jessica, an innocent young girl sheltered by small-town faith and her worldly friend Helen, whose rebellious streak leads them both into danger. When the two sneak out one foggy night, they wander to a forgotten churchyard, an isolated place where sacred ground conceals something unholy. As darkness descends, Jessica's search for belonging turns to horror, forcing her to confront the evil that thrives beneath the surface of the American heartland.
Black Hollow

Michael is a young man caught in a downward spiral of drug addiction, plagued by insomnia and consumed by guilt over past mistakes. As he struggles to cope with his demons, a mysterious presence begins to haunt him - the ghost of his deceased mother. Unable to distinguish between reality and hallucination, Michael is forced to confront his innermost fears and with this, confront the ghosts of his past.
