Youssef Gebran

A week before his First Communion, Youssef, a ten-year-old Maronite boy, discovers masturbation and with it, the concept of sin. He tries to negotiate his own deal with God while pressure mounts on him from all directions: his mother, brother, and the parish priest.

Two young Polish resistance fighters take refuge after an operation. Wounded, freezing and exhausted, they are faced with the choices of their engagement. They only have one match left, a last moment of heat before a final decision, as the enemy approaches.
