Biography
Sydney A.M. is an Irish writer, filmmaker and multimedia artist who specialises in surrealist and abstract works. Sydney's debut film as writer/director is Mildew (2024) and has an upcoming film to be released in 2025. His interests include short story fiction writing, poetry, scriptwriting (for both stage and screen), stop motion animation (clay, cut-out), underground comics, collage and more. Sydney lists his top influences as William Burroughs, Leonard Cohen, David Lynch, Werner Herzog, Andrei Tarkovsky, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Pressburger & Powell and a multitude more, his top four films being Blue Velvet (1986), Possession (1981), The Servant (1963) and Lawrence of Arabia (1962)

A man is given a letter by a stranger which causes an extreme sense of urgency to get to a very particular location. This is an experimental film that is entirely up to interpretation. The films concept was constructed by all members of the cast and crew.
