How to Break Up with Chico is an LGBTQIAPN+ short film that features Max, a young man determined to break up with his boyfriend, or at least trying, amid emotional crises, questionable advice, and inevitable relapses. The film explores the dilemmas of the liquid relationship generation, humorously addressing themes such as emotional responsibility, post-breakup grief, and the drama of heartbreak.

At the height of the 2020 quarantine, Gustavo finds himself alone in São Paulo, far from his family and friends, with no one to share or exchange affection with. Until he received a strange notification: an old school friend started following him. Lost in his own loneliness, Gustavo invites him to eat pizza in his apartment. But upon meeting Augusto again, old feelings are reconsidered and Gustavo must discover how to deal with his past mistakes.

Between love crises, nervous laughter, and unanswered messages, Fleayag turns emotional chaos into comedy. When his best friend Cami insists she needs to “open her heart,” Fleayag ends up hosting Cami’s cousin, an unlikely guest who becomes the center of a romance as confusing as it is irresistible. Blending sharp humor, vulnerability, and the dilemmas of those trying to make sense of themselves amid social media and fleeting relationships, the web series follows a generation that laughs at its own pain and turns it into a show.
