Matt Jeston is an award-winning film director with a deep passion for storytelling and a comprehensive background in film and television production. Matt's work spans feature films, television, short films, documentaries, and music videos-many of which have received international acclaim. His projects have earned multiple awards, along with nominations and official selections at film festivals around the world. With a distinctive voice and an unwavering commitment to cinematic excellence, Matt continues to push creative boundaries and bring powerful stories to life. His journey into filmmaking began at a young age, when his imaginative vision was recognised with a scholarship from the Queensland Arts Council. Matt went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Media with Honours, specialising in directing. During his studies, he gained hands-on experience across a wide range of productions, refining his skills both behind the camera and in post-production.
