Nina and Miki travel to a small village in Mazuria to spend the summer with their long-estranged father. Their mother accepted a job offer in the US, ignoring the protests of Nina who blames her father for breaking up the family and wants nothing to do with him.
This year has not been kind to strawberries. At the beginning of April it snowed. Strawberries began to bloom on the 21st. The first fruit of the year was eaten by a snail, the second by Adam, and the third appeared simultaneously with hundreds of others. The rest is a story whose heroes are not Peter and Paul, although their interference in fate makes Julia's first kiss taste especially sweet.
Trying to reconnect, father and daughter go on vacation together. Will they be able to rebuild their relationship?
