Max Maclay (born 2003) is an emerging British-Swedish filmmaker based in Dublin. Having recently directed two shorts during his time at University College Dublin, both released at student film festivals, Max is now directing an independent self-financed short with a 2026 premiere. The project focuses on two writers reckoning with harsh truths surrounding their friendship.
