Biography
Bebhinn was born in Dublin, Ireland, and raised in an incredibly creative household. She studied drama and film at University College Dublin, before heading to Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where she earned her masters. Since then, Bebhinn has ventured into the world of filmmaking. Her debut short 'Just An Illusion' premiered as part of the Waterford International Film Festival (2023). Her latest project, '2.21' tells the story of the breakdown of communication, in this, a society so constantly connected. Shot between both digital and 8mm, this film jumps into the mind of young people, and how even though they have the world at their fingertips, saying what you really mean feels harder than ever.

Based on a true story, this short film tells the story of the Kelly brothers. Horse racing is a huge part of their lives, so when they had the opportunity to buy a horse, they leaped at the chance. Things aren't going exactly to plan when the race day for Just An Illusion comes. Tensions are high, especially as this is the first race the Kellys will be attending without their father, the man who introduced them to the world of horses.
