Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.

WWE Main Event is a professional wrestling television program produced by WWE that airs on Peacock and streams on Hulu Plus in the United States. The show features WWE wrestlers and complements WWE's primary programs Raw and SmackDown.

The American professional wrestling promotion WWE has been broadcasting PPV events since the 1980s, when its classic "Big Four" events (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series) were first established with the company's very first PPV being WrestleMania in 1985. The company's PPV lineup expanded to a monthly basis in the mid-1990s following the introduction of the In Your House series of pay-per views before expanding even further in the mid-2000s during the first WWE brand extension. Following WWE's original brand extension in 2002, the company promoted two touring rosters, Raw and SmackDown, representing its television programs, Raw and SmackDown. The traditional "Big Four" continued to showcase the entire roster, while the remaining PPV events alternated between Raw and SmackDown cards. In March 2007, WWE announced that all subsequent PPV events would feature performers from all brands. In 2008, all WWE PPV events began broadcasting in high-definition.

Promociones Antonio Peña, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (commonly referred to as simply AAA, pronounced "triple A" – an abbreviation of its original name Asistencia, Asesoría y Administración de Espectáculos,  'Attendance, Advisory, and Administration of Spectacles') is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. It was founded in 1992, when Antonio Peña broke away from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to set up his own promotion to have more creative freedom. On April 19, 2025 it was announced that AAA had been acquired by WWE.

The Road to WrestleMania begins at Royal Rumble, and the top Superstars in WWE are set to compete for a championship bout at WrestleMania. The matches will begin with two superstars in the ring. At equally timed intervals, a new superstar enters the fray. Elimination only occurs when a superstar has gone over the top rope and both feet have touched the floor. This continues until there is just one superstar left standing as the winner of the Royal Rumble Match. Also, AJ Styles will put his incredible career on the line against Gunther and Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE championship against Sami Zayn.

The 2025 Worlds Collide was a professional wrestling event and supercard co-produced by the American promotion WWE and its Mexican subsidiary Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). It took place Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Noche de Los Grandes (Spanish for "Night of the Greats") is an upcoming professional wrestling event produced by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), in partnership with its parent company WWE. The event will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

The 2025 Evolution was a women's professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was the second Evolution event and took place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw, SmackDown, and NXT brand divisions.

Alianzas Noviembre - Day 3 was a professional wrestling event produced by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). The event took place on November 28, 2025 in Auditorio GNP Seguros, Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, Puebla, Mexico.

The 2026 Vengeance Day was a professional wrestling livestreaming event produced by WWE for its NXT brand, held on March 7, 2026, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and was headlined by Joe Hendry (c) vs. Ricky Saints for the NXT Championship.

The 2025 Stand & Deliver was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE for its developmental brand NXT. It was the fifth annual NXT Stand & Deliver event and took place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada.

Triplemanía XXXIII was the premier annual supercard of Lucha Libre AAA World Wide (AAA), held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. This event marked a historic shift, as it was the very first Triplemanía staged under the ownership and creative influence of WWE, following their acquisition of AAA on August 1, 2025.

The 2025 NXT Deadline (stylized as DEADL1NE), also promoted as NXT Deadline: San Antonio, was a professional wrestling livestreaming event produced by WWE and took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas. The event was based around the Iron Survivor Challenge for men and women, a 25-minute five-person match in which a wrestler attempted to score the most falls to earn a match for the NXT Championship and NXT Women's Championship, respectively.

The 2024 NXT Battleground (marketed as NXT Battleground: Las Vegas), was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It was the second annual Battleground held for the promotion's developmental brand NXT, and the seventh Battleground overall. In partnership with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), WWE's sister company under TKO Group Holdings, the event took place on June 9, 2024, at the UFC Apex in the Las Vegas suburb of Enterprise, Nevada. It was WWE's first event held at the venue and aired via the company's live-streaming platforms. Rapper Sexyy Red hosted the event.

Bellator 259: Cyborg vs. Smith 2 is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Bellator MMA that took place on May 21, 2021 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The 2024 Spring Breakin' is an ongoing professional wrestling television special produced by WWE for its developmental brand NXT. It is the third annual Spring Breakin' for the brand and is airing as a two-part special episode of NXT on the USA Network. The event is taking place on April 23 and April 30, 2024, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Following TNA's invasion of NXT this past Tuesday, NXT General Manager Ava made the blockbuster announcement during NXT No Mercy. On Tuesday, October 7, it will be TNA vs. NXT on a special Invasion edition of WWE NXT. The best from TNA and NXT will clash for supremacy in two Survivor Series style matches, one for the men and one for the women. The teams will be revealed by TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella and NXT General Manager Ava this Tuesday.

Stand & Deliver 2026 was a professional wrestling event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for its NXT brand, held on April 4, 2026, at The Factory at The District in St. Louis, Missouri, marking the first edition to take place outside of WrestleMania week and NXT’s first standalone event to stream on YouTube in the United States. It was headlined by Joe Hendry (c) vs. Ethan Page vs. Ricky Saints vs. Tony D’Angelo in a Fatal Four Way match for the NXT Championship.
