Mourad, a taxi driver, is grappling with haunting visions of his wife and daughter who recently drowned. These harrowing images have driven him to escape from the confines of his home, taking refuge in the familiar setting of his trusty taxi. Along the way, he encounters an old man who regales him with a timeless tale of resurrection. This encounter prompts Mourad to embark on a journey to fulfill the legendary story, one that will ultimately force him to confront his own destiny in solitude.

In a bustling neighborhood, various residents go about their lives: young children play soccer, elderly men gather at the local cafe for backgammon, young adults stand on the corner smoking, two others attempt to record a song, while a young couple shares a romantic moment. Through the interwoven events and relationships among them, we witness how their actions spiral into a state of madness.
