When Fuchs starts his new job as a teacher in a prison school, replacing the old and unconventional teacher Berger against her will, he is forced to confront his biggest fear, triggered by the mysterious, withdrawn inmate Samira.

A father visits his son: on a sleepless night in the big city, they circle around each other – two adults trying to rediscover themselves beyond their old roles.

A group of young people spend the evening in the clubhouse. One of them is Toni, who, as usual, keeps to the background. In the stuffy air of the wood-panelled room they drink, gossip and embarrass each other, while pop songs play in the background. Business as usual. As the night goes on, Toni watches an older couple dancing and starts to wonder what he really wants.
