During the totalitarian regime of the 80s, he ambles along his oddball path and then experiences the Velvet Revolution atypically, too - in an asylum amidst nut-cases. After the Revolution, he really gets rolling. To Germany and back. To prison and back. To China and back. The intriguing and endless opportunities afforded by the Internet eventually blossom into virtual prosperity. The hero has everything and is even planning a highly unorthodox family. A happy ending is nigh, until everything goes up in smoke, of course...
Two young technicians, Filos and Kája, come to a small village that is a bit cut off from the rest of the world in order to find the best place to install a new station for the reception of a cell phone signal. Their arrival understandably arouses a feeling of expectation among the locals, especially when they learn of the interesting financial reward for the owner of the land on which the transmitter will stand. A fight flares up in the village over this reward, and all weapons, those permitted and those not, are put into use. Of course, there is also the question of whether Filos and Kája will be able to live up to the expectations that have been placed on them. Maybe they aren't even who they claim to be...

A sports coach who has devoted his life to athletics is now past his prime and has time to realize everything he has missed. An old woman lives alone in a large empty house, without human contact, which she seeks in higher spheres. And finally, a young mother with two children. Her small salary and harsh life do not play into her favor. She struggles and fights, but perhaps the moment will come when she gives up everything. The visually captivating film Proměny follows four different characters whose lives intertwine only slowly and randomly. The individual fates and the plot culminate, and the film's bold concept inevitably leads to a final clash. What must happen for life to be different than before?
