A successful transgender actress and her lawyer husband decide to adopt a child, defying the conservative community in Argentina. But their attempt for a domestic happiness is thwarted when they visit the actress's hometown.

Laura usually visits her grandparents, Domingo and Norma, in the nursing home. When quarantine sets in, Norma dies of natural causes. Her death strikes Laura deeply and she fears for her grandfather's condition. But Domingo, in a moment of lucidity, teaches her about life and love.
