Gabriel Novais Brotas (born in January 2004) is an award-winning Brazilian filmmaker from Cafarnaum, Bahia. Passionate about cinema and audiovisual production, Gabriel made his directorial debut with his first short film, Memórias (2024), followed by Season 9 – September is Different (2024). Since then, he has been working to establish himself as one of the rising talents in Brazilian cinema.

Anatomy of a Clock
Gustavo lives for his work and completely ignores his limits. During yet another exhausting night, he falls asleep in the office and suffers from sleep paralysis. Trapped in his own body, he begins to feel shadows, distorted sounds, and the weight of the exhaustion he has always tried to hide. Between reality and nightmare, Gustavo faces the consequences of a life consumed by work.
