As her childhood best friend prepares to depart for the US, a college student navigates her academic pursuits, strained family relationships, and a growing dread of the inevitable goodbye. 'Sandy' is a film about grief, memory and and how sometimes life forces you to bend into uncomfortable shapes as you go through it.

The film tells the story of Myca, a student who turns to stealing after losing her job due to a revelation about her father. Living under her parents' roof, she only has her mother by her side, and together they manage to get by. Along with her friends Mark, Adora, and Baron, Myca finds ways to survive. In their precarious situation, the friends rely on each other until one of them betrays the group. The story follows how these friends test their loyalty and uncover the truth.
