Al Ghadr "The Treachery" is a Syrian TV series with a detective theme, consisting of 31 episodes, based on the novel “The Bread Peddler” by Xavier de Montépin.

After the head of a family is killed, his wife faces pressure from his brother who lusts after her. She escapes to Damascus to find work, where a self-defense incident leads to a manslaughter charge and the heartbreaking loss of her children.
