Based on true events, "The Bay of Spies" follows Franz Neumann, a young Nazi Abwehr officer, who discovers that his real father was Polish. Using this information to his advantage Franz becomes a spy for the Allies with the code name Got’ His task is to obtain information about the activities of the German Navy, the Kriegsmarine and report back to the allies. Using his charm and charisma, Franz manipulates the men he gets close to, makes women fall in love with him, and snakes his way into the German elite.

1991, several months after the fall of communism, Gdansk. Reemigrant Jacek Waldemar returns to Poland with a desire to act. Seeing the home mess, poverty and unemployment, he launches the first private radio on the coast. This is a shock for Slominski, director of the local radio station of the state broadcaster. So far, whether anyone listens to his broadcasts has not mattered to him. Waldemar fights fiercely, because winning the listenership means real revenues from advertising... but one day the inhabitants of Gdansk have even more choice.

The first musical adaptation of Bolesław Prus' novel. The premiere took place at the Musical Theater in Gdynia in February 2010. The stage adaptation focuses on the tragic love story of Wokulski and Izabela Łęcka, deliberately omitting many of the novel's subplots.
