Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.

In order to finally get that long-awaited promotion, Heinz Hellmich, an old white man, has to show his "wokest" side at work. When he invites his superiors to a private dinner at his home, his family's politically correct façade quickly begins to crumble and the evening takes a hair-raising turn.

More is not always more. Or is it? The metal splinter in Fenix's shoulder hurts more with every setback. Fenix survived an armed attack on the queer local café and has been struggling to catch his breath ever since. Between fighting spirit and fear, Fenix radically demands clarification. But the response to Fenix's uncompromising attitude is hatred and further threats, until even Fenix's own community stands in his way.
