Yos Suprapto, an artist who held an art exhibition at the Indonesian National Gallery entitled "The Rise of Mother Earth for Food Sovereignty". Unfortunately, this exhibition was canceled due to disagreements between the artist, curator, and gallery. This documentary will explore more deeply the major themes behind it, starting from criticism, history, Arts, and innovation in Indonesia.
The Silenced Soil

A movement to criminalize men with long hair, commonly referred to as "gondrong". during Indonesia’s New Order era gave rise to various negative stereotypes that continue to be attached to long-haired men to this day. However, this criminalization stemmed from motivations far deeper than mere concerns over hairstyle and was closely tied to the authoritarian leadership of the period. These underlying factors are explored in a short documentary titled “Gondrongisme.”

Starting from Ardan, an unemployed and lazy teenager who ignored his mother's reply when he woke up from sleep, making him unconsciously trapped in a subconscious space that kept repeating itself.
