Biography

Eduard Ralja (October 12, 1924, Vana-Suislepa parish, Tarvastu parish, Viljandimaa – November 25, 1987, Pärnu) was an Estonian actor. Eduard Ralja's parents were farmers. He studied at the Anna Tõrvand-Tellmann English College in Tallinn from 1932 to 1940, graduated from evening high school in 1942, and from the Viljandi Cultural Education School in 1969. He was a factory worker in Tallinn from 1947 to 1954. He worked as an actor in 1954 to 1956 at Ugala, 1958 to 1960 and 1968 to 1978 at the Viktor Kingissepp Tallinn State Academic Drama Theatre, 1960 to 1966 at Endla, and 1966 to 1968 at the Youth Theatre.
