Yuri Sharov

In the late 70s, the popularity of the Cornflowers screen ensemble was growing rapidly. Lena, a journalism student, gets to know the group and falls in love with the leader, Yuri Vasilkov. But suddenly the "Cornflowers" disappear from the scene. Forty-five years later, Lena's daughters and grandson Roma embark on a journey to find the missing musicians in order to collect "Cornflowers" at a teleconference on December 31 and thus fulfill the only condition in Lena's will.

It's 1999. Sasha and his parents spend their summer holiday in a sanatorium, where he gets the titular role in an amateur musical production of Orpheus and Eurydice. He is paired with Polina, an employee of the sanatorium and a local beauty. Sasha falls in love with a girl and, without realizing it, drags himself and his family into an unequal battle with the manager of the sanatorium Misha, who does not hesitate to use any leverage so that Polina stays with him.
