Biography
Hawar Rahimi is a Kurdish filmmaker. He was born in 1993 in Piranshahr, Kurdistan of Iran. he started studying psychology at Tehran's Alameh Tabatabayi University in 2011. Still, he did not finish the course and decided to abandon the university and Start filmmaking. he received a filmmaking certificate from the Iranian Youth Cinema Society in 2016. He made his first film in 2017. Then he founded Retaw Film Company with Zanyar Muhammadineko in 2020, a film production and distribution company. He has made three short films as a writer, director, and producer. He wants to become a great filmmaker in the world.
Known For
Zara is a working Kurdish woman, who lost both her national ID card and birth certificate. She goes to a civil registry office to get them again because she needs them for an employment application, but the staff tells her that she has lost her fingerprints and needs to give her hands a break for a couple of weeks.
