Biography
Anna is a Director, Screenwriter, and Production Designer pursuing an MFA in Screenwriting and Directing at Columbia University. Two of her films, We Were Children and Sunflowers in Idaho, are in post-production (as of August 2023). She is developing a third short, The Years I've Hungered, which is set to shoot in June 2024. Anna's work covers a broad range of subjects and genres, but she's particularly drawn to queer narratives, historical pieces, and family dramas. Her first-ever TV Pilot, Texas, made it to the second round of the Austin Film Festival. Anna grew up in the mountains of Ketchum, Idaho. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Sarah Lawrence College where she studied creative writing and biology. She lives in New York City with her three cats.
