After the death of her father, detective Juliet Dumon starts over. She leaves Brussels and returns to her hometown of De Haan to care for her niece, who lived with her father.

Ed Bex, a man with an eating disorder: as soon as he puts something in his mouth, he sees what happened to it. He uses this special gift in his unusual job: with 'The Last Greeting' he helps relatives to reconstruct the last hours of their dearly deceased. When Inspector Adams finds a body in an airtight bag, he asks for Ed's help. Ed has doubts: does he want to use his gift in a murder case? When he does get stuck into the case, he becomes entangled in a mix of absurd situations, personal chaos and deep pangs of conscience.

Max is six years old and is discovering the world, together with his older brother Billy. However, Billy doesn't understand the world very well, but he does know a lot about space. The two brothers set out to send a message into space, but things do not go as planned.

Father and mother form a happy little family with their children, until one day their children decide to split up. The house is cut into two equal halves. One half for brother and one half for sister. The parents are involuntarily torn apart by the divorce and are forced to swap children and homes week by week.

A ten-year-old boy, for the first time, goes to a brass band rehearsal with his dad, the band's conductor. He is confronted by a version of his dad he is not used to.
