Biography
Santino Credali embarked on his acting journey in 2023 His first role was Detective Meunier in the independent feature film Laila Nadene. His dedication to understanding characters through repeated script readings is a cornerstone of his approach. In addition to his role in Laila Nadene, he has contributed to various student films and recently portrayed Marc in the short film Beautiful, directed by Léa Damian. Beyond acting, Santino is a vocalist for a local rock band and has independently produced and written his own three-song album, Sunman: Ascension. With a commitment to authenticity and humility, Santino Credali continues to explore diverse roles, striving to bring depth to every character portrayal.

In 1974, in the quiet suburb of Sainte-Foy, two discontented couples bring their kids to summer camp. Once home, they must face the pitiful state their marriages are in. Unable to deal with their problems, they become the most infamous criminals in the history of organized crime in Quebec City.

During a romantic wedding anniversary dinner, Laila is callously served with divorce papers. Her husband, Raoul, takes this opportunity to let her know that he has a new girlfriend, Nadene, whom he plans to marry. To help cope with her grief, Laila enters therapy, but as the sessions get more intense, she gradually remembers the long-buried secrets that have haunted her for decades. Meanwhile, young women are disappearing, and a police investigation is in full swing. The police don’t have any suspects, that is until a missing person’s report is filed, and a body is pulled from the dumpster. After a visit from the lead detective, Laila is overcome with empathy for Nadene, and she vows to help her in any way. The women then team up and help each other so that the first wife can overcome the horrors of her past, and for the second wife, to avoid the utter destruction of her future.
