Based on the Persephone myth, this film follows Poppy as she struggles in a cycle of being pulled between her homophobic, addict mother and her girlfriend, Harper.

After a chance meeting in a graveyard, a widow and a widower open up to each other and start dating. However, the widower starts to get second thoughts when the widow insists on being called by the widower's dead wife's name in bed.
