Matteo meets Lorenzo and Paolo, old friends and classmates who he had not seen for many years. The three go out for a drink together to an old sandwich shop where they used to spend time. Between one beer and the other, the three men tell each other about their lives, discovering soon that that they share a deep existential melancholy. Eager to relive their lost youth, the three men get crazy with joy in the street, until they meet a group of street thugs that awakens in them a strong feeling of envy and intergenerational hatred.

Summer. The sun's rays pulse on the surface of an inflatable pool as two lovers kiss and console. They live among fields and woods, far from society. Outside their love nest, ther's a world that never wanted them and that, slowly, transformed them into monsters. Aboard a white van, they sow hatred and horror as a response to a childhood that has never been processed.

In a clumsy house far from everything, tucked away in the fields of a small town, lives a family in isolation. At the insistence of Mom and Dad, determined to protect the children from what the world has become, Cosmo and his siblings have never left the house.
