A young Eastern European immigrant working in Sweden is faced with a painful choice when she's laid off from her factory in the name of "efficiencies."

Sam returns to his hometown after being away for a couple of months, and the atmosphere is tense as he reconnects with his childhood friend Kevin. During an evening filled with alcohol and cigarettes, Sam wrestles with his conflicting emotions about his old social circles.
