When the war in Ukraine breaks out, five women representing various generations and attitudes engage in a desperate fight to save themselves and their loved ones. Thrown together by life, they are protagonists in an uplifting story about life, courage, sacrifice and the power of human spirit.

Piotruś lives with his father, who takes great care of him. His father explains the world to Piotruś and warns him about the terrible dangers that lurk outside his home. Piotruś is 35 years old and one day he comes across an old, mysterious newspaper with crosswords that will open the door to independence for him.
